The hryvnia also strengthened its position against the European currency. According to data on the regulator’s website, the official euro exchange rate for Friday was set at 43.70 hryvnia per euro, that is, the hryvnia strengthened by 10 kopecks.
On the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine, by 16:00, hryvnia quotes against the dollar had settled at 41.63/41.65 UAH/USD, euro – 43.68/43.68 UAH/EUR.
