“We had to beat Kazakhstan.” The Belarusian national team spoke out after the victory – Hockey
Forward Belarus national team Vadim Moroz summed up the match with Kazakhstan (3:1) on Channel One CupSports.kz reports with reference to Hockey.by.
“In the third period we started doing the right things, which we were told about in the locker room, and this led to goals. They did their job.
I don’t know, maybe at the beginning of the game there was a lack of some kind of “chemistry”, the right actions, we attacked very little, we tried to play more passing games. But everything should have been simpler. In the third period we scored our goal – and things got easier there.
There was no panic, all the guys on the bench said: “Calm down, everything is fine, now we’ll score and win.” We tried to continue doing our job.
Kazakhstan is the team we had to beat. Starting a tournament with a victory is good. Next it should be simpler, let’s roll in and it will be easier to play.
