The fraudster convinced the victim of the authenticity of the inheritance, sent spam emails, screenshots of fake bank accounts in the name of the husband.
On Ternopil region Fraudsters defrauded a resident of Chortkov for a considerable sum. Scammers promised to pay the man 750,000 euros of inheritance.
This is reported by the police of the Ternopil region.
The 37-year-old victim appealed to the employees of the territorial division of the police. The man said that he had transferred the money to the scammers. A woman wrote to him on the Internet, who was looking for an heir to her fortune and decided to bequeath the money to a resident of Chortkivshchyna.
He was contacted by the woman's representative, who asked to send documents and details of bank cards. In order to get the desired millions, the swindler talked about the need to pay for the services of lawyers, conclude an agreement with the bank and some “formalities”.
