The suspension of debt payments and the restructuring process will in no way affect the work of Ukrenergo – expert
The decision of the Cabinet of Ministers to stop the payment of debts for “green bonds”, which actually started the process of restructuring the bonds of NEC “Ukrenergo”, will not affect the current work of the state company in any way.
Investment banker Serhiy Fursa expressed this opinion.
“There is a process of restructuring Ukrenergo Eurobonds. And as part of this restructuring process, the government allowed, actually gave permission for restructuring, which is accompanied by such measures. Therefore, there is nothing terrible, nothing extraordinary is happening,” the expert noted.
According to him, this is a normal practice and it will not have any negative impact on both the company's work and its relations with creditors.
