The famous Ukrainian director Mstislav Chernov, who this year received an Oscar film award for the film “20 days in Mariupol,” is preparing a new film.
It became known that it will be called “2000 meters to Andreevka” and they plan to show it at the Sundance festival in the USA. The film will be presented in the World Cinema Documentary Competition category.
It will depict the history of the liberation of the village of Andreevka near Bakhmut. Mstislav Chernov and Associated Press photographer Alexander Babenko focused their film on Ukrainian soldiers and their lives in the trenches.
