Tonight at The Game Awards 2024 they showed a new trailer for Mafia: The Old Country (which was also successfully leaked online the day before the award). The game developers from Hangar 13 shared details of the development, and talked a little about the new features that can be expected in the game.
Game director Alex Cox gave an interview to Xbox Wire. The developer said that The Old Country will be the first game in the series, the main actions of which take place outside the United States. The plot tells about the formation of the Torrisi mafia family in Sicily at the beginning of the 20th century. The game explores the theme of the origins of the mafia phenomenon in Italian culture.
