Prices for greenhouse cucumbers in Ukraine fell by 11%: the reason is Ukraine

In Ukraine, this week there is a decrease in selling prices for cucumbers due to weak demand for greenhouse vegetables, which is unusual for mid-December.
This is reported by EastFruit analysts.
Sellers are forced to resort to this step because the demand for cucumbers is much lower than usual during this period.
Today, the price of greenhouse cucumbers fluctuates between UAH 80-110/kg ($1.92-2.64/kg), which is 11% cheaper compared to last week. This is due to the fact that wholesale companies and retail chains reduce purchases of large batches due to low sales rates, which leads to the accumulation of unsold products and deterioration of their quality.
