Against the backdrop of anti-government protests in Georgia, a tragedy occurred that was not related to the political crisis. At one of the country's ski resorts, 12 people died, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
The tragedy occurred in the village of Gudauri in the north of the country, where a famous ski resort is located. On the second floor of an Indian restaurant, the bodies of 12 people were found, who were probably employees of the same establishment. Of these, 11 are foreigners and one citizen of Georgia.
