Donald Trump has appointed the head of his social network as the head of the US Intelligence Council
Previously, the candidate for this position headed the Intelligence Committee of the US House of Representatives.
The newly elected president of the United States Donald Trump named its Truth Social Devin Nunes as the new chairman of the Director General's National Intelligence Council.
It informs Reuters.
The publication reports that Nunes will take over the post of chairman of the US President's Intelligence Advisory Council.
Trump has said that Nunes is his longtime protégé and previously chaired the House Intelligence Committee. However, he will remain the head of Truth Social while serving on the advisory board.
