DTEK introduces new blackout schedules: what will change from December 16

According to DTEK, the situation with light in each region is different, but now everything will change.

Throughout Ukraine new unified schedules of stabilization shutdowns are introduced. They will be the same for all regions.

This was reported to DTEK.

“This will make it possible to manage the power system more flexibly and disconnect a smaller number of customers. They will begin to operate from 01:00 on December 16,” the message reads.

What changes now:

  • The outage schedule is divided into 30-minute intervals.
  • Each queue is divided into two sub-queues: 1.1 and 1.2, 2.1 and 2.2, etc.
  • More than an hour with light – a minimum of 3.5 hours between possible outages in the absence of network failures.

As before, for the convenience of planning your affairs, you will always have two schedules available:

  • The schedule for the day is a clear schedule of “There is light” (white) and “There is no light” zones…
