“Sam suffered a cut on his left eye in the last sparring before flying to Tokyo.

The next steps for Inoue's team are unknown at this time. Considering Goodman’s unpopularity as an opponent for the Japanese “Monster,” it can be assumed that there will be no talk of postponing the fight, and an opponent will be found for Inoue who will enter the ring with 11 days’ notice.
