The Kazakhstan national hockey team helped set a historical record – Hockey

Head coach Russian national hockey team (under 25 years old) Roman Rotenberg commented on the team's victory on Channel One Cupreports Sports.kz.

“74,137 fans at the matches of the Russian national team are the main figures for the Channel One Cup! I would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported us throughout the tournament. Playing in front of such an audience is a dream come true. Many of the guys on the team had never been on the ice in front of such a crowd in their lives; for them it was very exciting and responsible. I am incredibly glad that we were able to please our fans in all matches – we won both the 5 vs 5 matches and the 3 vs 3 tournament.
