Kazakhstan women's ice hockey team won her second victory in the qualifying tournament 2026 Winter Olympicsreports Sports.kz.
In the third round of the second round in Group D, the Kazakhstan team beat the Iceland team with a score of 2:0. The goals were scored by Nadezhda Filimonova (7th minute) and Pernesh Ashimova (60th minute).
Thus, the Kazakhstan team scored six points. In the first qualifying match, the Kazakh hockey players crushingly lost to the Slovakian national team – 1:8, but then won two victories: in addition to Iceland, they also beat the Slovenian national team – 3:0. Please note that only the group winner will advance to the qualifying finals.
