Will the North Korean troops fight in Donbas – experts predict

Since autumn, the North Korean military has been taking lessons from Russia's invasion of Ukraine. In particular, according to the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine, there are about 11,000 servicemen of the North Korean army on the territory of Russia.

According to the Center of National Resistance, Russia does not use North Korean troops in battles against Ukrainians. There they say that they are not involved in hostilities, they are only assigned to be on duty at checkpoints.

However, the President of Ukraine and the GUR say otherwise. In particular, for several days, among the military and in the media, there has been talk of bringing North Korean soldiers into combat readiness and their possible transfer to the Donetsk region.
