The leader of the far-right Alternative for Germany party, Tino Khrupalla, called on the federal government to recognize Russia as the winner in the war against Ukraine. He stated this in an interview with Welt.

“Russia won this war,” said the head of Alternative for Germany, adding that “the reality has taken those who claim that they want to give Ukraine the opportunity to win the war by surprise.”
