“Miner” suffered a sensational defeat on the road “Polissya” in the match of the 17th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) of the 2024/25 season. The match in Zhytomyr ended with a score 1:0.
The only goal in this meeting was scored at the end of the second half. In the 90th + 1st minute, Bohdan Mykhailichenko hit the goal of his former club with a shot into the near corner from the penalty area.
It should be noted that “Polyssia” beat “Shakhtar” already for the second time in the current draw of the championship of Ukraine. In the 2nd round of the Ukrainian Premier League, the Donetsk club also narrowly lost to Zhytomyr with a score of 0:1.
