New blackout schedules in Ukraine
The State Energy Inspectorate says that there is reason for optimism.
Tomorrow, December 16, “Ukrenergo” will introduce new rules of restrictions: six groups of blackouts will be divided into 12 subgroups, which will allow turning off the lights according to schedules in half of the group, and not in the whole group at once.
Anatolii Zamulko, head of the State Energy Inspection, said this during a telethon on December 15.
He spoke about the new principles of applying blackout schedules in Ukraine and how the system will now work.
“The scheme, which is being implemented today, is really divided not into six, but into 12 groups. Six large queues and 12 groups. This will allow the operator of the distribution system to simulate a disconnection, that is, if it is necessary to turn on and off, overlap, one and a half queues, then it is not necessary to exclude two. And this will allow a more flexible approach to the processes of such a disconnection… This problem appeared again…
