A weightlifter from Uzbekistan broke a world record and became a three-time world champion. Video – Athletics

Uzbek weightlifter Ruslan Nurudinov reaffirmed his status as one of the strongest athletes in the world, Sports.kz reports with reference to Upl.uz.

At the last World Weightlifting Championships in Bahrain, he not only won a gold medal, but also set a new world record.

Uzbek weightlifter, competing in the weight category up to 105 kg, Olympic champion in 2016, two-time world champion in 2013 and 2022, champion of the 2018 Asian Games, two-time Asian champion Ruslan Nurudinov showed the best result, lifting a total of 242 kg.

Thus, the 33-year-old athlete became a three-time world champion.
