Prystaiko spoke about Zelensky’s first meeting with Putin – UNIAN
According to him, Zelensky sincerely believed that he could convince Putin of the possibility of dialogue.
Former Foreign Minister and former Ukrainian Ambassador to Great Britain Vadim Prystaiko, who accompanied President Vladimir Zelensky during his meeting with Russian Ruler Vladimir Putin in Paris, spoke about the negotiations between the two leaders. In an interview with RBC-Ukraine, he noted that although it is too early to share details, something can still be revealed.
“I can say that this was an attempt to talk. President Zelensky sincerely believed that he would somehow be able to convince President Putin that it was possible to talk to us. He is like a person who has never been involved in politics, much less security policy , I didn’t understand that the question is not ours.
