Only 1 out of 10 Kirov families is able to buy an inexpensive car – 62nd place in the Russian Federation

Experts analyzed the level of accessibility of purchasing cars in different regions of Russia. The new rating appeared on the portal ria.ru.
As of the end of 2024, only 2.2 percent of families in the Kirov region can afford to buy and properly maintain an average car costing 2.9 million rubles. An inexpensive car (1.2 million rubles) is available to only 10.3 percent of Kirov families. This is 62nd place in the ranking of regions for this indicator.
For comparison, in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the share of families able to rent a car for 1.2 million rubles is 54.7 percent (1st place). In the Komi Republic – 22.4 percent (14th place), in Tatarstan – 18.1 percent (25th place). At the bottom of this list are Dagestan, Chechnya and Ingushetia: 3.7, 2.4 and 2.1 percent, respectively.
