New power outage schedules: the expert explained what will change for Ukrainians

The new principle of drawing up power outage schedules with the division of queues into halves will allow to limit only the necessary number of subscribers and reduce the switching time to 30 minutes.
Oleksandr Kharchenko, director of the Energy Research Center, announced this on the air of Kyiv24 TV channel.
Previously, if it was necessary to limit 250 MW of capacity in a queue of 400 MW, all subscribers were turned off, although there was no need for this.
“Because the team was in line, the entire line was turned off. And there were quite a few people in that line who could theoretically be left alive at this time,” Kharchenko said.
