Nuclear energy is critical for the future of Ukraine,

Nuclear energy is strategically important for the whole world and especially for Ukraine. Therefore, the Verkhovna Rada must allow the completion of the third and fourth power units of the Khmelnitsky NPP. This was stated by MP from the Batkivshchyna faction Oleksiy Kucherenko on the air of Suspilne Kiev.

The deputy emphasized the need for further development of the state company Energoatom and the importance of completing the construction of nuclear units for the country's energy security.

“Energoatom is a national company, it is a state company. And the fact that these units, in principle, certainly need to be completed, I stand by this position,” the parliamentarian noted.
