Ukraine already owns laser weapons
The Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces spoke about the capabilities it reveals.
Ukraine already possesses laser weapons, being the fifth country with such capabilities. It is called “Trident,” said the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel Vadim Sukharevsky. This type of weapon allows you to shoot down enemy targets, in particular aircraft, at a distance of more than two kilometers, Interfax reports.
“We can state that today Ukraine is, if I’m not mistaken, the fifth country that can say that it has a laser,” he said. And he emphasized that the SBS is close to strengthening and scaling the “laser capabilities” of Ukraine.
