Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury confirmed rumors that he had gained weight ahead of his rematch with the WBA, WBO and WBC title holder Alexander UsikSports.kz reports with reference to Fightnews.info.

Fury hopes that bulking up will help him in his second fight with the Ukrainian.

“In this fight I will weigh approximately 133 kilograms. I think that will be the key factor,” Fury said in an interview with the BoxNation YouTube channel.

According to Fury, compared to the first fight against Usik, he gained about 14 kilograms. Then, at the weighing ceremony, the “Gypsy King” showed a result of 118.8 kg.
