The President of Finland made a loud statement regarding the introduction of peacekeepers to Ukraine

Stubb believes that this issue should not be rushed.

The President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, expressed a warning about rushing ahead with the issue of introducing peacekeepers to Ukraine after a possible cease-fire.

The politician stated this at the meeting of the countries of the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) in Tallinn, reports Yle.

According to him, UN permission is necessary for the implementation of the peacekeeping operation. Stubb noted that currently it is more important for Ukraine to get weapons to fight in war conditions.

“Back off,” Stubb said when asked about his message to Russia.

It will be recalled that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that the country will not send peacekeepers to Ukraine while the war continues.
