Akhmetov continued the work of the project “Hearts of Azovstal” — Ukraine
The “Heart of Azovstal” project to support the defenders of Mariupol and their families will continue its work in 2025. This decision was made by the founder of the project, Rinat Akhmetov.
“I decided to continue the work of the Heart of Azovstal project in 2025, because more than one and a half thousand defenders of Mariupol are still in captivity. And this is not just a number – it is more than one and a half thousand courageous people, Ukrainians, who found themselves in an extremely difficult life situation. They need to know that they are not alone. What is waiting for them at home – their families, parents, children, the whole of Ukraine is waiting. And our duty is to fight for these boys and girls, to support and help them. We should say a big “thank you” to them for their feat – not only in words, but also in deeds,” said Rinat Akhmetov.
The “Heart of Azovstal” project began work on January 16, 2023 by Akhmetov's personal decision.
