The situation at the front as of December 17

Ukrainian defenders are doing everything possible to push the enemy out of the country.

Currently, the most difficult situation is in the Lymansky and Pokrovsky directions, where numerous attacks and skirmishes continue. The enemy did not take active actions in the Gulyaipil direction, the enemy attack was unsuccessful in the Dnieper direction.

This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Kharkiv direction: the enemy is actively using airstrikes in the Vovchanskyi Khutory area, using artillery and mortars to shell settlements in the border areas. As a result, communities of Sumy region and Kharkiv region were affected, including Vyntorivka and Petrushyvka.
