Nevertheless, Lubinets admitted that certain facts of violation of the rights of Ukrainian citizens in the direction of mobilization remain.
Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, said that, compared to last year, the situation with forced mobilization has worsened, but not drastically.
The ombudsman said this during his visit to Kharkiv, reports the local publication “Objektiv”.
According to him, upon receiving reports of violations of the rights of Ukrainian citizens in the process of mobilization, the staff of the Office of the Ombudsman headed by a special representative go to the place. There they seek physical access to the citizen, receive information about the incident from him and then decide how to react to it.
