The war in Ukraine – what the Poles think about a peace agreement for our state – UNIAN

This opinion was supported by 55% of Polish citizens.

For the first time, a majority of Poles support ending the war in Ukraine through territorial concessions. This was reported by Polish Radio, citing a survey by the Polish Center for Public Opinion Research (CBOS).

In particular, the survey showed that 55% of respondents supported the opinion that to end the war, Ukraine must sacrifice territory. In September 2024, only 39% of respondents supported this, and in April only 26%.

In turn, CBOS noted that this change shows growing fatigue from the long war, because previously Polish citizens supported Ukraine continuing its fight.
