Newly elected US President Donald Trump plans to expel a million migrants from the country in the first stages of implementing his deportation policy, Bloomberg writes, citing sources familiar with the matter.
According to the publication, Trump has already discussed the migrant problem with the authorities of Mexico and El Salvador, but not in much detail.
The sources also said Trump's transition team has now asked the governments of Mexico and El Salvador through closed channels to take in some of the millions of undocumented migrants set to be expelled under the president's mass deportation plan.
