Ukraine received more than €4 billion from the EU – UNIAN
Ukraine has attracted all tranches provided for this year within the Ukraine Facility.
Today, December 18, the state budget of Ukraine received a tranche from the European Union in the amount of 4.1 billion euros within the framework of the Ukraine Facility financial instrument. According to the Ministry of Finance, 1.5 billion euros of this amount is a grant.
The funds will be directed to the priority needs of the state budget in the social and humanitarian sphere.
“Ukraine has successfully attracted all tranches provided for this year within the Ukraine Facility. Thus, in 2024, direct budget support from the European Union reaches more than 16 billion euros, which makes the EU the largest donor among all international partners,” said Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko.
