The Rada could not recall Yuriy Boyko from the Committee on Human Rights — Politics


217 People's Deputies voted for the decision to recall Yuriy Boyko.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine failed to vote for the recall of People's Deputy, head of the “Platform for Life and Peace” Yury Boyka from the position of a member of the Committee on Human Rights, Deoccupation and Reintegration of the Occupied Territories.

People's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this.

There were not enough votes in the parliament to pass a decision on Boyko's recall from the Committee on Human Rights.

“The Council was not even able to recall Yuriy Boyko from the post of a member of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Human Rights, Deoccupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, National Minorities and International Relations. By only 217 votes,” Zheleznyak said in a statement.

Voting results for Boyko's recall:

  • “Servant of the people” – 166 votes,
  • “European solidarity”…
