World champion from Kazakhstan suspended for doping – Boxing/MMA

Kazakhstani world champion MMA weight category over 120.2 kilograms Rasul Khataev (6-4-0) was suspended from competition for violating anti-doping rules, Sports.kz reports with reference to ITA.sport.

According to the ITA, traces of drostanolone and clomiphene were found in the athlete’s blood. Date of violation: February 17, 2023.

The disqualification period is from October 16, 2024 to October 15, 2027.

Rasul Khataev is a world and Asian champion through the International Martial Arts Federation.

Let us recall that in December the International Testing Agency (ITA) suspended two-time world grappling champion Samat Aitpanbetov.
