According to information from trusted sources, the Social Fund of Russia reports that starting from January 1, 2025, the average old-age pension for non-working citizens will increase to 18,521 rubles. Tatyana Golikova emphasizes that the increase in payments will occur thanks to the budget.
To receive an old-age insurance pension, you must meet three mandatory conditions. Women will be able to retire after reaching 60 years of age, and men – 65 years of age. These age restrictions will begin to apply only in 2028; Russians are now going through a transition period.
Currently, women retire on average at 56.5 years, and men at 61.5 years. In 2024, none of the Russian citizens will retire due to age. A similar situation is predicted in 2025 and 2027.
