The police stopped a car with coffins, which contained 250 kg of cocaine
The driver of the car was arrested.
In the Netherlands, police found cocaine worth 13 million euros hidden in two coffins.
This is reported by the Telegraph.
Officers foiled a brazen smuggling attempt and seized 250kg of the Class A drug after spotting a van with French number plates driving erratically.
A 30-year-old French suspect was arrested on December 13 during a raid near the city of Numansdorp in the south of the country.
After stopping the vehicle, the police found two closed coffins inside, which, according to the driver, contained bodies.
“He was driving a van with French license plates on the A29 near Numansdorp and was behaving suspiciously. We stopped the driver and asked for an explanation. He claimed to be transporting coffins with two bodies. However, the documents were not confirmed,” law enforcement officers said.
