“We must become a veteran-centric society” – Metinvest talked about the principles of working with former military personnel
10,000 Metinvest employees were mobilized in the Metinvest company during the ten years of the war, and now about 8,000 are serving in the Armed Forces, which is 17% of the employees. Therefore, the company develops a system of care for its workers.
The director of the company's Corporate Communications Department, Oleg Davydenko, said this at the Get Business Festival, where participants shared their experience of business management and development in conditions of risks, a changing business climate, uncertainty and limited resources.
Davydenko noted that veterans are returning from the war to Metinvest's enterprises, which are located near the front line. And that is why they continue to serve, but already in the economic plane.
