A 20-year-old blind cat was saved from death in the lake

Eyewitnesses rushed to the four-legged rescue.

In the USA, a 20-year-old blind cat fell under the ice on a frozen lake and was rescued by a couple of local residents.

Westlake, Mass. Animal Control said the police department received a call from a citizen who reported a cat standing on a piece of ice floating in the middle of Lake Nabnasset.

He then said that he could hear the ice cracking under the animal, and a few minutes later it fell into the cold water.

A pair of witnesses, identified only as Chris and Nate, rushed to take action before animal control officers arrived.
