Dina Zholaman from Akmola region became a quarterfinalist Kazakhstan 2024 Boxing Championshipreports Sports.kz.
In the 1/8 finals in the weight category up to 57 kilograms, Zholaman was supposed to meet with the representative of the Kostanay region, Zhanna Nurtlesova, but she did not enter the fight. Thus, Dina Zholaman advanced to the next stage of the competition without a fight.
Let us add that Zholaman is the 2016 world champion: she won gold at the world championship in Astana. Dina also won the gold medal at the Asian Championships (2021), and in 2022 she became a bronze medalist at the World Championships in Istanbul (Türkiye).
