By the end of winter, the prices of products may increase: what exactly will become more expensive – an expert

The price increase will be influenced, in particular, by the inflation factor, which, according to forecasts, was supposed to be 9% at the end of the year, but today it has already exceeded 11%.

In the winter period, prices for meat, milk and vegetables may rise in Ukraine. The cost of products may increase by 10-15%.

Such a forecast was made by the Deputy Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council, Denys Marchuk, on Deny.LIVE.

According to him, the increase in the price of vegetables was influenced by weather conditions, as a large number of vegetables were lost due to the hot summer in Ukraine, which were supposed to be stored and then sold on store shelves.

“In some places in the southern regions, losses reached 30%. This is a large volume, considering that we lost the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, which are partially occupied, and we cannot fill the market from there,” Marchuk said.
