Poland is ready to accept a new wave of refugees from Ukraine this winter. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Wieslaw Lesniakiewicz stated this during the Warsaw-Kyiv Sustainability Forum, Ukrinform reports.
According to the diplomat, Poland “is taking systematic actions to prepare the country to receive the next wave of refugees.” He emphasized that in 2022 the country was not fully prepared to receive a large number of refugees from Ukraine, and then ordinary citizens of the country and local governments played a significant role.
