A Ukrainian journalist was detained on suspicion of undermining the EU summit
During the security check at the entrance to the House of Europe, a special apparatus indicated the presence of “traces of explosives” on the hands of the journalist.
The well-known Ukrainian journalist, editor of “European Truth” Serhii Sydorenko was detained by the police in Brussels on suspicion of preparing an explosion at the EU summit. He was in the police station for 5 hours, and his hotel room was searched.
Serhii Sydorenko himself reported on this curious incident, which happened the day before, on December 18, on his Facebook page.
According to him, during the inspection at the entrance to the House of Europe, where the summit is taking place, some kind of detector went off, after which swabs were taken from his hands. The special apparatus indicated the presence of “traces of explosives” on the hands of the journalist.
