Russia fired missiles at Ukraine
The Ukrainian capital found itself under enemy ballistic attacks in the morning.
On the morning of Friday, December 20, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with missiles. The launches were carried out by strategic aviation.
According to the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a large-scale air raid alert was announced throughout the country due to the takeoff of enemy MiG-31Ks. It was not specified how many aircraft were in the air.
Around 7 a.m., Russian planes launched missiles in the direction of Kyiv. A few minutes later, explosions occurred in Kyiv. Monitoring channels reported the use of ballistic missiles, probably Kinzhals.
The mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, said that air defense is operating in the capital. He called on Kiev residents to stay in shelters.
