The Russians staged a large-scale cyberattack on the state registers of Ukraine — Ukraina

Due to the cyber attack, the registers under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice were suspended.

On December 19, Ukraine suffered the largest external cyber attack on state registers in recent times. The attack was carried out by the Russians in order to disrupt the operation of the state's critically important infrastructure.

This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishyna.

Stefanishyna spoke about the consequences of the cyber attack.

“Today, the largest external cyber attack on the state registers of Ukraine took place in recent times. As a result of the targeted attack, the work of the Unified and State Registers, which are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, was temporarily suspended,” the statement said.
