NATO must contain Russia for the next 10-20 years,
The head of Estonian intelligence believes that the Russian Federation will try to limit NATO activities, including in the eastern states of the Alliance.
The head of Estonian foreign intelligence, Kaupo Rosin, said that NATO will need to contain Russia over the next 10-20 years
“NATO's goal over the next 10 to 20 years will be to contain or intimidate Russia so that it doesn't have stupid ideas to push the West militarily,” Rozin told Reuters.
According to him, it is doable, but the West must take the problem seriously and invest in defense.
The plans of NATO and national military forces, he said, must be backed up by real resources, troops and ammunition. Only in this case will it be possible to contain Russia.”
