Suspilne calls for tolerance after TESLENKO’s statement about Enleo – UNIAN
Public broadcasting reminded us of freedom of choice.
Alexander Teslenko said that he may have refused to participate in the national selection for Eurovision 2025 because of another participant, ENLEO, who listens to Russian music. Today, December 20, Public Broadcasting expressed its position on this situation.
On its Instagram, Public Broadcasting published a statement in which it noted that although they are offended to hear about Ukrainians listening to Russian music, this is not prohibited by the Eurovision rules.
“We are sorry that Ukrainians continue to listen to the music of the aggressor country. However, the Eurovision rules do not prohibit this. We cannot prohibit listening to Russian music. This is about everyone’s choice,” the broadcaster’s response says.
