2,000-year-old bone box engraved with Jesus' brother's name now on display in US

A unique 2,000-year-old bone box found in Israel inscribed with the name “Jacob, son of Joseph, brother of Jesus” was recently exhibited in the US. The inscription on the box, or ossuary, is written in ancient Aramaic, which coincides with the names of the father and brother of Jesus of Nazareth.

This discovery raises the possibility that the casket may have contained the remains of James the Righteous, the first Christian leader in Jerusalem after the crucifixion of Jesus.

The ossuary is currently on display at Atlanta's vibrant Pullman Yards fairgrounds, which features 350 historical exhibits from the time of Jesus.
