Newly elected US President Donald Trump will continue to support Ukraine, despite his past statements.
This was stated by French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot in an interview with Le Parisien. The minister expressed the opinion that Trump is too wise to allow the largest territorial annexation in the last 75 years. Trump will remember that peace cannot be achieved without Ukrainians and Europeans.
“(He – ed.) is too wise to forget that no just peace can be concluded behind the backs of Ukrainians and over the heads of Europeans. This would enshrine the rule of the strongest, with very serious consequences in Europe and other regions of the world,” he added Barro.
