Emelianenko fought with his compatriot Alexei Goncharov (4-4). This fight ended with Emelianenko winning by knockout in the first round: it took him only 37 seconds. Video can be viewed below.
Thus, Alexander Emelianenko won the 29th victory in his professional career, and Alexey Goncharov suffered his fifth defeat. We add that for 43-year-old Emelianenko this was the first professional fight since 2021. He hasn't stepped into the cage since losing by first-round submission to Brazilian Marcio Santos (19-9-1).
