Frozen Russian assets sparked a row between German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Polish President Andrzej Duda at a meeting of EU leaders this week. The Financial Times reports this.
The meeting took place on Wednesday evening at the home of NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Brussels. When discussing ways to further support Ukraine, the Polish President called on the EU to finally confiscate and spend frozen Russian assets worth 260 billion euros to support Kyiv.
