The screenwriter of “Arcane” told in which region she would like to see the continuation of the series

While the Arcane sequel is in development, series writer Amanda Overton shared which region of the world of Runeterra she would like to travel to in the next show.
She shared this with Games Radar. According to her, Ionia is of greatest interest to her, as something very culturally different from Piltover and Zaun.
Ionia is an island nation in the world of League of Legends, inspired by the culture of Asia, particularly China. In Arcane, we were given a glimpse of Ionia in Mel Medarda's flashback in the first season, where her mother Ambessa executed the princess of the state.
